Scribbled Stories "The promise"

He promised to be her strength..
He promised to be her white hat..
He promised to get her everything she desired..
He promised to keep her blissful..
He promised to never leave her..
He was away quite for a long time fighting for the nation and she was living with the hope of the promises he made to her..
Today she was waiting to meet him after three years..
And Finally he arrived..
The eight year old kid looked puzzled and asked her mom "Mom..why is dad sleeping in a box?"
All the promises he had made to her laid to rest with him in the coffin.

Chill Thrill !!

In our day-to-day life we happen to come across a lot of incidents which turn into unforgettable memories and one such incident happened to me six years down the memory lane. I had completed my class 10 exams (which seemed to be a great achievement at that time) and my papa took us on a trip to Shimla (HP), such a beautiful place I must say. First day at Shimla was breathtaking and the next day we went to Manali and Rohtang pass (13000 ft high) which almost took my breath away!

Book review: It started with a friend request by Sudeep Nagarkar

Sudeep Nagarkar's " It started with a friend request" is worth reading.

The author knows the tactics to get u glued to the book. He has proved his efficiency in story telling and his book definitely tempts you to finish it in a single sit. This book reminds me of  Dr Jeckyl and Mr Hide but with an uncliched climax.

It starts with two love stories of Akash - Aleesha and Tamanna - Deep. The story shows how fate plays between love and friendship. It revolves around the relationships between Akash-aleesha, Adi-Akash, Deep-Tamanna, Tamanna-Aleesha and when all these meet at a point what happens next forms the climax with an excellent twist. Trust me it was not a cliched climax.

Eager to know what happened next? Go and get the book right now;)
